There are several steps we can take during the moving process to ensure the safety of our valuables. Using strong moving boxes, clearly labelling all boxes containing fragile items, and hiring a reputable moving company all go a long way to protect your valuables. Oddly enough, most people stop short, however, when it comes to protecting their items within their moving boxes. Anyone who has attempted to safely move their dishes or other fragile items knows that the slightest jostle of a moving box or bump in the road can leave unprotected breakables in pieces. Rather than arriving at your new home to find your valuables broken apart, consider taking a few minutes and protecting such items with strong and relatively cheap bubble wrap.
